Site Eligibility Requirements
Traffic, content, technical, and account requirements for Advlume approval — organic traffic, original content, HTTPS, domain verification, completed KYC, and compliance with the content policy.
Advlume is a managed monetisation platform for content publishers. Not every website qualifies for approval. This article describes the minimum requirements a site must meet before it can be approved and begin serving ads.
Traffic requirements
- Minimum traffic: There is no hard minimum page view threshold for initial approval, but sites with fewer than approximately 20,000 monthly page views typically generate insufficient revenue to justify the platform overhead. Sites with very low traffic may be placed on a waitlist or deferred until traffic grows.
- Traffic source quality: The majority of traffic must come from organic search, direct, or referral sources. Sites where more than 50% of traffic is purchased through low-quality paid networks, pop traffic, or push notification traffic will not be approved.
- Genuine human audience: Advlume's evaluation checks IVT rates. Sites with a high proportion of bot or scraper traffic at the time of review will be declined.
Content requirements
- Original content: The site must publish original content or aggregate content with substantial original commentary. Sites that are solely link aggregators, thin affiliate pages, or scraped content replicas do not qualify.
- Language: Content in any language is accepted, provided it meets the other requirements.
- Regular updates: Sites that have not published new content in the past 90 days may be declined. Dormant sites do not attract quality advertiser demand.
- No prohibited content: See Content Policy for a full list of prohibited categories. Any site containing prohibited content will be declined regardless of traffic volume.
Technical requirements
- HTTPS: Your site must be accessible over HTTPS. HTTP-only sites are not supported.
- Domain verified: You must complete domain verification before the evaluation is triggered.
- ads.txt accessible: A valid
ads.txtfile must be in place before going live. It does not need to be present at evaluation time, but must be added before activating ad serving. - No conflicting ad code: Sites that already have GAM ad code running under a different network manager configuration that conflicts with Advlume's line items may require technical migration. Contact your account manager if this applies.
Account requirements
- Completed KYC: Publisher identity verification (via Didit) must be completed before payments can be made. Ad serving can begin before KYC is complete, but earnings will be held until verification is approved.
- Valid payment method: A PayPal address or bank transfer details must be on file to receive payments.
- Compliant with terms of service: The publisher must have read and agreed to Advlume's Terms of Service.
